My Origin Story
I've always loved computers. I built my first custom PC at 12, which got me into the troubleshooting, firmware, and BIOS tinkering side of things.
Video games were a massive part of my life also. I've played so many throughout the years and always thought it was amazing how someone could create it. It got more impressive when I learned how much actually had to be done to make a video game (even the old 16-bit Super Mario games I used to play on the Super Nintendo).
Before college I spent 6 years in the Air Force. When I decided what I wanted to do next I figured I'd dive deeper into my computer-science and programming interests. I enrolled at UNC Wilmington for Computer Science, and switched into Software Engineering as soon as it was offered.
Outside of Coding
I'm always working on something, but sometimes when I have some free time I tinker with technology, watch movies, TV shows, and ride motorcycles. I also love to eat and try new food, so I'm always going to new food places.
I also recently started using the NeoVim text editor as my IDE. So, normally in my free time I'll probably be changing around my configuration, learning random keybindings, or messing with the themes / plugins.
